Kim's Story........Over the last 10 years from the age of 43 my weight has crept on, I think due to the peri–menopause and then the menopause.
I've tried all types of diets which haven’t worked or haven’t been sustainable. I’m also a member of slimming world but over the last 2 yrs have only managed to lose just 5lb. I’d always be losing one week then gaining that weight back the next week. I just couldn't sustain my losses.
I first met Kate at my gym induction at Mallory Court and I hate the gym!!
However all I can say is WOW what an inspirational, motivational and knowledgeable woman Kate is. After having my induction and hearing her talk. I decided to give her Get Fit For Summer Plan a try. What did I have to lose?
I’m so glad I did! In just 8 weeks I've lost a dress size and a whopping 5 inches off my stomach. Thanks to Kate’s delicious recipes and eating plan I've completely changed my eating habits and really enjoy my food. I now even eat full fat which I haven't done in years! I’m never hungry and no longer crave sweet sugary foods anymore, which I always did before.
No more yo-yo dieting for me! I’ve even been away a couple of times and maintained my weight loss, even without exercise, where I would normally have put on 4 to 5lb.
I’m now looking forward to the next 8 weeks working with Kate where I’m hoping to lose another dress size.
